Think "Web"

"Weaving the web" is more than a cute name for a web site; it's how clients make their sites more valuable and — in the end — more visited.

Any site is more valuable when it is "connected" to other Internet resources; it's "The Web" we're a part of, right? If this site's webby motif can help you visualize your site's potential "connectedness," so much the better.

Too often a web site's "connectedness" isn't planned and intentional, which means it probably wasn't considered strategic. And that's a mistake. But a correctible one.

Beyond creating sites that look good and function well, I encourage clients to use available Web resources on their sites; and in turn, clients should invite other Web denizens to use their site resources. Links, search engines, syndicated content, RSS feeds; they all contribute to getting connected, getting known, and getting traffic to your site.

That's what the Web is all about.
